About Us, Our Story
These past few years have been hard for all of us. We all experienced life in a different way, which made us feel what mattered most in our life. Redefining normalcy has been hard.
Oregon is known for its beauty and diverse culture. Our chefs and staff are comprised of many ethnicities ranging from north to south of India, no matter the region, language, or religion, we are a family, and one thing is for sure, we don’t give up.
As we all know, the restaurant industry has been through a lot from outdoor seating to interaction with people. A lot of restaurants went out of business due to covid. This is our attempt to connect people through our food, our culture. It was one of my dreams to open a restaurant, so I could share with people our rich culture, values, our traditions and most importantly our food.
The meaning of “Daawat” is an invitation for food, and we would like to invite our neighborhood to join us in this journey. This is our way of thanking you for standing with us, and more importantly trusting us for the last five years to serve in this neighborhood. We promise to always provide the best food and services every single time you join us.
“Daawat A Ishq” means food is love and that’s our motive to spread love through our food. Thank you to all for supporting and fulfilling my dream.
